Kid's Memory Verses
John 3:16
Psalm 23:1 (NCV) - The Lord is my shepherd; I have everything I need.

Adult Memory Verses

Psalm 23 (NKJV) - The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. 3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me 5You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.

Prayer Points
#1 - For a deepened understanding of God's Father Heart
#2 - For a spirit of sonship to pervade the church (your community, your family), rather than the orphan spirit

Service Project
#1 - Find a family without a father to love on for the month - How can you show them the Father Heart of God?
#2 - How can you help orphans here or around the world? Consider sponsoring a child or giving a donation to an organization that serves orphans.

Games & Activities
#1 - Orphan or Son? - Review the handout as a family and talk about each line (or talk about one line per day). Honestly assess yourselves and discuss how to move from orphan to son.

#2 - Letter from God - Print this letter and keep with you throughout the month. View it as a letter truly from God to you and let Him minister to your heart.
